My Chemical Romance
I’ve found a new band to worship after listening to their album a million times and still not getting enough of it. Didn’t like them at first, but their new music is so damn good. Gerard Way is also coming into his own as a performer and I love watching him get better. He loves Freddie Mercury as much as I do too so that kind of sealed the deal, plus he’s pretty.

“It takes a while to tell stories, I think it’s because I was drunk for three years.”
“It’s like the drag fairy coming and saying ‘What
would you like to do?’ Um, yeah karate.”
“It tastes like somebody stole my wallet. Ya know?”
“Well, I’m half Italian, so last year on warped tour i got this really good tan and I was like, bummer.”
“I’m not psycho…I just like psychotic things.”
“Actually, I might party a bit. I haven’t partied in a long time, but we party a little differently than, like, Trick Daddy . We like high-speed Internet and strong coffee.”

“Welcome to the new church. Can I get an Amen?”

I get a little tired of that song too and actually think it is the worst on the album, but Famous Last Words and basically all the others keep me swooning. NO WAY about Freddie Mercury hitting on your cousin, was he into it? Who didn’t Freddie hit on or even sleep with? After all this time I still love him and miss his antics.

i don’t think my cousin went with it - but i did hear this story as mediated through my aunt, i’m sure he wouldn’t tell her that he’d slept with freddie mercury. i think he was in a relationship at the time (he’s still in the same one) so he was flattered but said no. i’m sure the no is what made f.m keep trying. he gave my cousin one if his leather jackets and he autographed an album for my aunt.

And this wasn’t in your earlier celebrity encounters! My god! For shame! I guess it is very second-third-maybe even fourth hand but still.

I’ll have to say I’m not a fan of MCR. Mewing about how your dad took you into town to see a parade? There’s got to be other ways to depress teenagers these days….

dude, didn’t andrea just say that song was her least favorite on their album? i guess i still can’t see you becoming a mcr fan - it’ll take a lot for you to stop listening to abba.

I do like my Swedish music, for instance I’ve been listening to Shout out Louds for some time now. And isn’t Sweden the next Vancouver for pretentious indie rock? Or is that Denmark?

haha I knew the MCR post would get you guys bashing for sure. Just wait until I bring it with Freddie Mercury. Look out! Aren’t you glad I’m just not talking about Pete Wentz?

Oh yeah, and why haven’t I gotten in shit yet for posting cheesy American Idol performances? Like, what the hell dude? Don’t pull any punches on my accord, I am asking for it!

Yikes, Kasabian (speaking of pretentious indie music) don’t seem to be fans either: “These emo kids should get out more and try and have a good time instead.” http://www.nme.com/news/kasabian/24719

Hey, Gerard was an alcoholic and has mentioned a like of throwing tvs out of hotel windows. The man knows how to have a good time. They are pretty death obsessed though, I get that, but I kinda like it. Dude I am going to dye everything I own black. Not really.
