i’m totally in love with this song by the teenagers. i seriously think it’s so funny and can’t stop laughing when the girl says “. . . as i stepped out of my s.u.v . . .”. be warned though, it has the c-u-n-t word it in a bunch of times. sometimes, i sing the guy part and brian sings the girl part. other times, i sing all the parts by myself, it’s a hard knock life.

i tried to find a more visually stimulating video with which to introduce you the song ‘business time’ by flight of the conchords but they all left out brian and my favorite part which can be found around 1:30.

  3. i don’t really know anything about flight of the conchords other than ‘business time” and their photo shoot for bust magazine. i think i like the other guy, not jermaine, i don’t know why though. actually, i think it’s all based on the brief ‘business time’ clip from the show that i saw.
    i totally thought you’d posted this song but i wasn’t sure. oopsie.
    that cookie lady scares me. i think her accent is so adorable and i was open to liking her up until the whole eating cookies out of a dirty looking jar/cookie orgasm clip i saw on dlisted. yikes.

  4. i just watched your video and it doesn’t have the tooth brushing noise - my most beloved part. i totally wanted to use that video though cause i like the chorus way better than in the radio version. but oh! the teeth brushing!

  5. i just watched the video and it does have the brushing teeth part- are you having seizures sarah that occur at the 1:30 mark? it even does the recycling part- yea the chorus in this version is so much better- i want to see them in concert bads- you should check out the documentary on them when they went to that sxsw show- or whatever that thing is in austin- its pretty amusing. And dont judge kat for loving her cookies a little too much i find it amusing- her cookie jar is really dirty looking but i think i like that even more- i want to find those kind of cookies in the chinese grocery stores around here- mayb i will have the same reaction.

  9. ok so i have to say how much i am in love with the fact that you kids love flight of the concords!! yeah the kiwis.. and you know what when i’m wearing those socks.. you know they are my business socks.. cause its business time! ah i love it… honeslty buy the dvd’s if they are out in north america… which i guess they are cause its HBO.. just feel us kiwi’s own the concords..lol!
