Enough with the Nicole Richie bumpwatch! If she is pregnant we will find out soon enough, but I doubt it. Have you people never seen pictures of starving African children? It is total starvation belly she has got going on and it is completely not hot. Anyway, as for the others on bumpwatch such as Katie Holmes or Halle Berry, give us a fucking break! Must be men commenting on these photos cause women have small pouches even if they are not fat and how do these guys not know this. It is called a gunt. It is always there unless you are super skinny (when it might appear too, but then it is known as the starvation belly and you can see above) It is worse on some days so leave the poor femmes alone until it really shows. God, today I look like I’m about to pop out a 5 month wee one, I can’t even imagine what they’d say if they got a look at me.

Word to the Unwise

Can you spot what is wrong with this photo? Okay, besides the fact that Tom Cruise is in it and he really freaks everyone out. Okay, besides the fact that their baby is also a robot. Okay, besides the fact that his yaght-club all American cheese outfit makes you want to barf. Okay, besides the fact that Katie Holmes has totally copied Posh’s haircut yet in a much cuter way. Here is what I am getting at: She is wearting 4 inch stillettos while playing with her baby on a fucking dock. How very Victoria Beckham. The haircut is polluting her brain. Please, oh please, get one of those pups caught in a gap and let the three of you plunge into the sea forever. Ok, save Katie and Suri since if Tom bites it they will surely be released from his evil Scientology spell and be returned to humanity. I never thought a good set of pumps could restore world order, but in this case I see potential.

Conspiracy! I smell conspiracy!

Odd how things like this go.  I read a post on “Oh No They Didn’t” yesterday about how Paris’ agency dropped her since she began her prison sentence, and the reason for her being dropped went something like this: Endeavor (Paris’ previous agents) was pushed by a number of the other A-list stars on their roster to kick the Simple Life star to the curb.
“They were getting a lot of pressure from bigger clients to get rid of Paris,” an insider reveals exclusively to OK!. “None of them wanted to have the same agents as Paris; she’s an embarrassment to any real artist.”  And, according to the insider, it was Jessica Alba who tipped the scales against the hotel heiress. “Jessica is the anti-Paris — a real star who hates the silly L.A. party scene that Paris reigns over,” explains the source. “She made it clear to the folks at Endeavor — either Paris goes or she goes.”

So to open up perezhilton.com site today only to read post after post after post (the bashing went on for at least 3 pages) of Jessica Alba bashing.  Perez Hilton was once the BIGGEST (and i do mean it in both senses of the word) basher and hater on Paris but since being introduced to the hideous heiress and is now a known ‘friend’ and converted ally (i.e. Paris’ newest bitch on a leash purchased for free - at least the dogs she posesses cost her money).  It only goes to figure that his once loved and praised Alba is now enemy #1, because he is as pathectic as his putrid followers, and is as lame as even one of Paris’ lowest ranked lackies - if not 100 times worse because he is a wannbe celebrity that is famous for bashing the famous. Ugh!

a moment of serious

a few weeks ago i was alerted to a newspaper article (i can’t remember the source) about two vegan parents who had starved their child to death while attempting to adhere to a vegan diet.  bullshit.  it’s not the veganism that killed the baby, it’s the parents stupidity.  there are numerous books, websites, etc. that can help new parents raise their children vegan and healthy and there are many, many health vegan people and babies (proof) who can work as resources too.  i find this story, and the resulting attack on veganism, to be terrible, misinformed, and, mostly, really, really, disturbing.

Why? Just why?

 So apparently ABC has now officially picked up the spin-off of Grey’s Anatomy that people have been buzzing about for weeks now.  My questions is, who the fuck cares about this character, whatever her name is?  See I don’t even know her fricking name.  Maybe this is because I wouldn’t donate butt fuzz for the Grey’s Anatomy cause (you know, like the charity of watching it), but I have watched it and I still don’t care for this character, ex Mrs.McDreamy or whatever.  She is one of those characters that makes you go “ok, when is her segment of the story going to end and get to someone interesting.”  Do you know what I am saying here peeps?  I will admit that I could watch T.R. Knight forever and yes, I know he is gay, and no, I really don’t care that he is I am still in heartship with him. Anyway, they say this spin-off will be tentatively titled “Private Practice” and it will indeed be very private since don’t worry, no one will be watching.  Maybe I am totally wrong and will have to eat my words when this catastrophe hits the airwaves.  It does have Taye Diggs.  I give it a “whatever” in anticipation.

I can’t wait

Ok so last year i totally got addicted to watching British Big brother-  its so good and its on everyday for 3 months- yea everyday.   I can’t wait for them to start it back up- its on in the summer.  It will have to be pretty damn good to beat last year’s because last year had my favourite big brother contestant nikki. 

Here’s a clip of nikki reacting to having to clean up the bathroom- she was like this all the time it was awesome.  She makes me laugh so hard- last year i wanted to be nikki and found myself adopting her moves.  The crying goes on for quite a long while (more than a minute)- at the end of the clip you see her trying to clean.  I tried to find a clip that would be amusing to you lot as well since you don’t have the 90 plus hours of time logged in with these people.

Oh and Pete the best guy in the world with turrets made last year awesome as well- I almost died when nikki got voted back in the house and they were able to tell each other that they loved one another.   This show seriously provided me with so much happiness.  Aw to Pete and nikki.

who doesn’t love the roots drummer and sometimes dj ?uestlove?  i know i love him but apparently security at the buffalo airport doesn’t.  after buying a ticket shortly before his flight, ?uestlove was flagged for further security checks.  the officers found a lot of money on him (from djing shows he’d been doing) and they didn’t like his appearance (or “rastafarian hat” apparently), they decided that he fit the profile of a drug dealer.  the officers harassed him but eventually they let him go in time to catch his flight.

clearly, racism and supreme stupidity are alive and well and unfortunately, they have badges and power.

MTV Updated Site, Teenager(s) Outraged

MTV.com took a great step forward today in internet evolution (like wired.com did 5 years ago), axing the total Flash site for an accessible and creative XHTML one. For the technically challenged, Flash is basically a movie or animation clip. You can upload flash movies on your website (it’s what YouTube uses). It is great for movies. But people went overboard and started to build entire websites from flash movies. Here’s what’s wrong with them:

• All the content (i.e. words) are not search-able, as they are embedded in the movie
• The site is not accessible to people visually impaired
• The movies are huge and sites are very slow as it takes so much time to download the flash
• They are not easy to manage, adding new stuff is a big pain as you need to manipulate flash files and upload.

In short: full-flash sites suck ass.

The new MTV.com features content in text, so it can be searched. The content can also be updated easier, so it should get updated more often. They have this rad abstract art cycled in for the background. It is faster, it has better searching, etc.

But that’s not what all the mewing teenagers (at least the ones posting to their blog) would have you believe. I am trying to figure out if it is just one disgusted poster who can’t watch his Whitesnake videos from work or really a consensus from the crowd. I think it may be the former, as during the previews, they received good feedback.
